Poet and author Orlyn Tatum-Wormley was born in Seattle, Washington, and schooled in Anchorage, Alaska. Outside of four years in St. Louis, Missouri, the author has spent her adult life residing in the great state of Texas.  The mother of three children, four step-sons, and five grandchildren, Tatum-Wormley lives an active life with her husband, surrounded by family and friends.

Often referring to her writing as therapy, the author draws on her life and work experience to compose her poetry.  Her reflections in poetry and prose leave the reader with a refreshing and often profound take on life.
