Retzlaff graduated from Sam Houston State University with a major in Studio Arts and a minor in English. She recently started her career as an illustrator for children’s books and loves that it allows her to be engrossed in two of her passions: literature and art.

God has blessed Retzlaff with the wonderful love and support of her family and friends. They inspire her all the time and are always excited to see her new artwork. She can do all of these things because God's grace heals her heart and clears her path.
