A.J. Beaver, illustrator of the first in the Meriwether Mystery series, The Recluse of Iffley Village, is a native of West Texas and resides in Snyder, Texas.

A jack of all trades and history buff, A.J. makes his living ranching, as his father and father’s fathers have done before him.
